Physical therapy

Physical therapy (exercise therapy) is a method of treatment that uses physical culture for therapeutic and preventive purposes to restore the health and working capacity of the patient, prevent complications and consequences of the pathological process. The procedure of therapeutic gymnastics is carried out in a group, small-group method and individually, daily, throughout the entire course of treatment.

The duration of the procedure is 30 minutes.

The procedure is effective in the absence, weakening or change of functions that have occurred as a result of the disease or its complications; positive dynamics in the patient's condition according to the totality of clinical and functional data; improvement of well-being, reduction in the frequency and intensity of pain attacks, improvement of functional and clinical laboratory examination data.

Contraindications

Physical therapy is contraindicated in the absence of contact with the patient due to his severe condition or mental disorders; acute period of the disease and its progressive course; increasing cardiovascular insufficiency; sinus tachycardia and bradycardia; frequent attacks of paroxysmal or atrial tachycardia; extrasystoles with a frequency of more than 1:10; negative ECG dynamics, indicating deterioration of coronary circulation; atrio-ventricular blockade; hypertension on the background of a satisfactory condition; frequent hyper- or hypotonic crises; bleeding and thromboembolism; anemia with a decrease in the number of red blood cells to 2.5—3 million, ESR more than 20-25 mm / h, severe leukocytosis.
