UHF therapy: alternating electric field of ultra-high frequency

UHF therapy is a therapeutic method of physiotherapy, using alternating continuous or pulsed alternating electric fields of high and ultra-high frequency (generation frequency of 40.68 MHz and 27.12 MHz). The absorption coefficient of the UHF electric field is low, so the action is end-to-end.

UHF therapy has anti-inflammatory, secretory, vasodilating muscle relaxant, immunosuppressive and trophic effects. It can be used from birth.

Indications for use

inflammatory, including acute purulent processes of various localization;
angiospasms and other disorders of peripheral circulation;
functional disorders of the cardiovascular system without pronounced circulatory disorders;
frostbite;
injuries of the musculoskeletal system and nervous system;
prevention of suppuration in wounds and minor violations of the integrity of the skin;
diseases of the digestive system in the phase of subsiding exacerbation;
neuralgia.

Contraindications

malignant neoplasms and suspicion of their presence
tendency to bleed
active form of tuberculosis
heart failure
aortic aneurysm
