Cryotherapy

General cryotherapy is a modern technology of non—drug restorative treatment based on short-term cooling of the surface of the human skin with cryogenic gas.

Therapeutic effects:

Relief of acute and chronic pain, relief of inflammation, edema, spasm, regulation of muscle tone, improvement of motor functions, strengthening of immunity, psychophysical training, restoration of reparative and reproductive functions, rejuvenation.

Indications for use

  • Injuries of the musculoskeletal system
  • Asthenoneurotic, asthenodepressive syndrome, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, menopausal disorders, stress conditions.

Contraindications

  • Peripheral circulatory disorders (Raynaud's disease, obliterating endoarteritis, thrombosis, obliterating atherosclerosis of peripheral vessels)
  • Anemia, systemic blood diseases
  • Hypersensitivity to the cold factor
  • Severe hypertension, coronary heart disease with impaired heart rhythm and conduction
  • Acute infectious diseases
  • Body weight deficit (BMI less than 16 kg/m2).

General cryotherapy technique:

Nitrogen cryosauna is designed for one patient and consists of an open-type medical cabin. Mittens are put on the hands, wool socks and shoes are put on the feet. The temperature in the cryosauna is from -130 to - 160 degrees C. The procedure takes 2-3 minutes.
